UPDATE: The BMO Vancouver Half Marathon was cancelled due to COVID-19. Before the cancellation was announced, I had just decided that it wasn’t a good idea to travel during this time of uncertainty. I’m also in the high-risk group with a compromised immune system.
The good news is that I raised $1851 with your help and that money still goes toward finding a cure for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis and improving the lives of patients. I have currently put my fundraising on hold and will pick it back up later this year when a sense of normalcy has returned. I plan to complete another half-marathon with Team Challenge later this year. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all of your support. Please stay safe.
I have decided to make a difference in the fight against Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. On May 3, 2020, I will participate in the BMO Vancouver Half Marathon. This will be a big undertaking, but it will all be worth it because your donations will not only motivate me to the finish, but they will help us get closer to the cure. Won’t you please consider a donation today?

I’ve been fortunate to be able to participate in the past with Team Challenge. I’ve completed four half-marathons with this program and it was life-changing. I’m up for the challenge again and really need your help to get me there.
I hate running, but I hate Crohn’s Disease more. Every donation helps go towards the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation‘s mission to help improve the lives of those suffering from Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
